Synopsis: After the loss of his pregnant wife during childbirth, African-American police officer Cedric Chase must learn how to cope with life. During a shootout, Chase is injured and is rehabilitated by the same Caucasian doctor, Lisa Woods, who tried to save his wife. Sparks fly between the two and thus begins a romantic whirlwind affair. Unfortunately, as the two grow closer, their prejudiced families intercede in hopes of destroying the relationship. Can the two lovers supersede the obstacles they face or succumb to their society's expectations?
